Will the PS2 Guitar Hero controller work on the PC or Xbox 360 versions if I buy a USB adapter?
I’ve got a Guitar Hero controller for the PS2. I was wondering if it would work on the PC if I bought a USB adapter for it (you can buy USB adapters to use PS2 Dual Shock controllers on the PC). And if that worked, would it also work on the Xbox 360?
I have used the PS2 guitar on the game ‘Frets of fire’, on the PC via the USB/PS2 adapter.
Frets of fire is the freeware game that is similar to Guitar Hero.
Whether or not its going to work for the PC version of GH3 is another matter since they are, apparently bundling the old 360 GH2 Explorer guitar with GH3 on the PC.
I would think there’s a good chance it will work though.
They must realise that people with PS2′s and PC’s have the game and don’t need another guitar.
